I down loaded the EOS 1d manual off the net the other day. I was reading in the flash section that the fastest sync speed for the non Canon Speed Lights and Studio Strobes is 125 of a sec. Does anyone have experience with this? If this is true this is a serious problem with this camera. I shoot basketball for a local college and hook up to the strobes in the rafters. With the D1x I can sync at 500/sec plenty of shutter speed to stop action. Did Canon really overlook this?!!!
