Hah, so much to the old discussion/claim that Canon didn't plan a 6MPixel CMOS sensor due to cost reasons. I think the only reason why Canon did put a CCD in the D1 is because they wanted to use proven technology in the professional body. Has anybody compared image quality between a D30 and 1D?
