Sorry about the previous message, hit the wrong button.

Seems the D60 is lumbered with Auto-Depth, rather than proper depth mode, as
was the D30.  Has anyone any idea why they would do that (other than that
the body is based on the 300 series?)  Surely A-dep is for point and shoot
types - would such people splash out a couple of grand on an SLR?  The D60
is touted as being "Ideal For Studio / Catalog Pros And Advanced Amateurs" -
are they serious?
