Hi All, Knowing the stigma of mentioning one's eBay auctions on this list, I have what I believe is a good solution (at least I hope so).
The concept of selling items via the list is considered fine because (AFAIK) that gives list members the opportunity to have the first chance at the item before it goes up for auction and presumably also at a lower price. My proposal is this: Anyone from this list who wins the auction gets a 10% discount off the winning bid. List members still get a price advantage (just not first option), so I hope this is a valid approach. Please also take into account that this is the first (and probably last) time I'll post such a thing to the list. I have sold quite a lot of EOS gear through eBay and have never before considered mentioning it here. The reasons I'm doing so now are that: 1. Vertical Shutter Release buttons are very rare 2. I had quite a few off list approaches about selling it after mentioning on the list that I had acquired it (and didn't keep the emails!). I no longer have my 630 and my RT's (sold through you know where) so I no longer have a need for it. Please fellow list members, don't bite my head off!!!!
