I want to buy some film for my Elan 7 (to keep it on topic) from B&H not available locally and was concerned about the issue of irradiation during shipping ruining the film. B&H says they ship FedEx and that this is not an issue. However, I called FedEx and they said that their packages go through whatever process is required at the airports they pass through and that they could not make any guarantees...that it was essentially out of their control.
Has anyone bought film shipped via FedEx? Any Problems? By the way, this is not meant to knock B&H as I have bought tons of photo equipment and supplies from them and have been 100% satisfied.
