Hehehe, I was caught offguard by your response, Evrim, until I scrolled down 
further.

I do have one 2.8L lens, being the 70-200mm, but the other one is a 20-35mm 
f/3.5-4.5 so perhaps I need to consider getting more L lenses if I go with 
this body.  Thanks for the feedback, I do appreciate it.  Your comments 
concur with a lot of feedback that I read on the www.photographyreview.com 
site about the Canon EOS D30 digital body.

I think I can live with slow AF, since I don't shoot sports.  I just hope 
that I can successfully get it on Ebay.

D30 does not use negatives, it is a digital camera.










Joking :) negatives of d30 -> low light focusing, fast moving object
focusing. the first one remedied by using a flash that has some sort of
focus assist and using f2.8 or wider lenses... other then that, it is the 
best digital camera i used...

oh also, you will need breezebrowser and a card reader since kodak software 
is lacking..
