Actually, Julian Loke and Gerard Maas have written an interesting and detailed article for the EOSDoc Web site about this, not me. http://www.eosdoc.com/manuals.asp?q=E7EMFlens They say that their tests lead them to believe that the Elan 7/EOS 30/33 consistently meters out by 3 stops and that (I think) this is a linear error. However, I've been contacted by at least one other person who claims that the error is non-linear. I don't have an Elan 7/EOS 30/33, haven't tested the linearity of the metering error and don't have an opinion on the subject. :) All I can say for sure is that that camera is the first and so far only EOS camera which does not meter correctly when in stop down metering mode. - Neil K. -- t e l a computer consulting + design * Vancouver, BC, Canada web: http://teladesign.com/ * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
