I've narrowed my decision down to either a Minolta Dimage Scan Elite II,
or the Canon FS4000. However given the slew of complaints against
Canon's support, I'm not too keen on spending upwards of $850 on their
scanner. Anyone here know if their support is/has/will be improving?
The thing is I don't need 4000dpi because i have access to several
4000dpi models, however if I can get it for a good price (like the
FS4000), then I'm tempted to. But only if I can trust that Canon's
support is improving for their scanners.
Don't worry, this applies somewhat, most photos I'll scan are taken with
one of two EOS cameras I use. <grin>
