Just saw the FLM head mentioned in the http://www.poelking.com pages (under "workshop-2"). Some of the models seem to have a mechanism which prevents banking (sideways tilting) leaving just front/rear tilting and panning when engaged. This sounds a great feature for larger lenses.
Now I was wondering if anyone has any experience on these FLM heads. How well do they work when compared to other (quality) heads (even B1 and such)? I'm mainly interested in models FLM Centerball CB58FT-AO and the similar, but smaller, 38 version. Mainly for maximum 300/2.8 (or 400/5.6) with 2x extender.
