I have one and like it a lot. It doesn't focus quite as instantly as the Canon L, but almost. If it has a weak spot, it's that the finish on it doesn't stand up too well. It scratches or chips more easily than other lenses (just the finish, not the barrel). It seems to be built well (I haven't taken it apart of course) and the results look fabulous to me. No focus limiter. I have the Sigma EX 2x to go with it, and the combo works very well too. Not quite as sharp as without, but still better than most consumer level zooms.
