Anyone ever had to get parts from Canon to repair/replace the small end of the Off-Camera Shoe Cord 2 (the bottom cap on the flash end of the cord)?
We use ours on Stroboframe flash brackets that tend to take an occasional bump or hit over the long haul doing wedding receptions, events, etc. We've found the shoe cords to be very vulnerable to breaking at the point where the bottom cap on the flash end of the cord fits onto the flash bracket. I've now got two that need repair, if possible, and thought I'd quickly see if anyone on the list had ever obtained the plastic end caps from Canon. I'll be calling them on Monday, but thought I'd ask here first. On a $50 cord, it's the cheap end cap that seems most susceptible to breakage. And right in the spot where the entire cord seems to be, from my experience, the most vulnerable. Or am I the only one who's ever broken one of these? ;-) Al Ruscelli Al Ruscelli Photography 1912 Triple Mast Circle League City, TX 77573 Phone & Fax: (281) 538-0579 www.ruscelli.com e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
