<Anyone here that might happen to have BOTH these lenses that has made a real <comparison between the two? I know the D60 camera is still in somewhat <limited supply, but the lens issue should be a known entity, regardless of <camera.
Steve I use both lenses with a D30 so my experiende would be usefull for you. In digital field, by now, the extreme quality of a lens is not so important as the quality of the CCD or, in this case, CMOS, limits the maximum lines per milimeter you can get. In the real world is not usefull the edge of the 2.8 zoom over the 28-135 . Get the IS zoom and you'll get nice pictures and will profit IS characteristics and wider range.
