Hi Everyone,
I was trying to decide which zoom I should go with - Tokina 28-80 ATX Pro 2.8
or either of Sigmas EX 28-70 2.8 or 2.8 EX DF (new one)? I would like to get
Canon L one, but it's just a little too much money for me. Any ideas? If this
helps - it will be used on EOS 3. Oh, and it has to be a 2.8 zoom - for low
light/faster and more accurate AF.
I looked at Photodo - there is not that much info there. Photozone rates
Tokina better. Photography Reviews - rates Tokina and non DF Sigma about the
same. Some digital sites say that Sigma is better than Tokina - so go figure.
Plus, while I like the idea of the Sigma EX 24-70 2.8 DF DG - it has that
huge 82mm filter size - non of my other lenses is that large, so I think I'll
rule this out, unless it is absolutely amazing, - which I also found mixed
reviews on.
Any users of either or all of the above lenses can shine some light on this?
Thanks
S.
