I was hoping that some of my fellow EOS mailing list readers might be able
to help me. I'm heading to Alaska next week for a 10-day shoot, and I'm
trying to decide on a circular polarizer for my EF 20mm f2.8.
Unfortunately, I've left this to the very last minute and won't have time to
test different types and sizes of polarizers myself. Hopefully someone here
has found a workable solution.

The Tiffen circ. polarizer I bought with the lens vignettes rather badly.
Can anyone recommend a good quality thin polarizer that does not vignette
with this lens? I've looked at a few web sites that list Hoya, Heliopan,
B+W, etc, but frankly I just can't seem to find any way to tell the
differnce between "slim", "wide-angle", "ultra-slim" etc.

I have a 77mm polarizer in my bag already, and a 72-77 step up ring. Has
anyone tried using a 77mm circ polarizer on this lens, and if so, does it
vignette?

Thanks in advance to all.
