I have the Novoflex one and find it very useful. It's solidly built, easy to use and it comes with a Novoflex Miniconnect compatible quick release system. I think there are several models, one with one axis (which I have), another one with two axis. Mine has three tripod sockets (front, center, rear of the axis) 1/4" and 3/8" each. I like it, but it's not exactly cheap.
