Hi Arvid,
It may be that your EOS 30 Custom Function number 9 is enabled. If you turn it off, your shutter speed will not be fixed at 1/125th of a second. Setup is eos30/70-200 f2.8 en 550 EX. I wanted to use av at 2.8 and set the flash at -2 for fill in. It was sunny but the shutter speed was 1/125 (the sync speed of the camera). Without the flash the shutter speed was in the range of 1/1000. So the pictures I took will all be overexposed. My question is the following : can't I use fill in flash with the AV setting at shutter speeds above 1/125? With a custom function? I didn't find it in the manual but it's in German and that's not a language I can speak very well. Thank you Arvid Mestdagh _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
