Hi everyone:

Is there a way, using Photoshop, to reduce or in the best case eliminate
film grain in a scanned image? Specifically, I understand high resolution
scans would "read" the grain for the film, but the effect of it remains even
after I resize the image to a smaller resolution.

I've found in a book (Photoshop Wow! book) hot to "add" grain to a digital
image, but I can't find any reference on how to get rid of it.

In other words I would like to get smooth gradients in the sky portion of my
scans.

Any comment is appreciated.
