Ok, this has probably been discussed in the past but I am new to Canon and
the IS lenses.

I have the 28-135 IS and the 100-400 IS.

Does it hurt, help or make no difference to leave IS engaged when on a
tripod? How about a mono-pod?

Do these two lenses respond differently on a tripod, or is the system the
same regardless of what lens it is put on??

Thanks for any help.

steve.
