If there is anyone in the northeast Ohio (Cleveland, Akron, Canton) area who follows this message board and owns an NC-E2 charger, I would appreciate hearing from you. This charger is for the EOS-1D or Booster PB-E2 using the Ni-MH battery pack. I have the opportunity to buy an EOS-1D but it will only come with the NP-E3 battery pack, not the charger or any other accessory. Assuming the battery pack in the camera is discharged, I will have no way to see if the body is functioning properly. Before I go out and spend $150-$300 for a used or new NC-E2 charger, I would just like to make sure the camera works. Otherwise is goes back to the seller. Would anyone be willing to let me charge my battery for 15-20 minutes?
