The <sales guy> should shut up when he has NO CLUE. Current D60 backlogs are unrelated to whether or not "something new" is coming for Photokina or PhotoPlusEast, and there's been no <problems> reported anywhere reliable which would account for the backlogs. Canon's expectation when they planned production runs for the D60 was that it was an incremental upgrade to the D30. They anticipated some demand, but not the overwhelming rush to embrace the new body. Since they woke up, they've been running their Asian production facility 24/7. unfortunately the final assembly steps are labor intensive and while they're running at full capacity, some things can only go as fast as they can go. -- regards, Henry Posner Director of Sales and Training B&H Photo-Video, and Pro-Audio Inc. http://www.bhphotovideo.com * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
