Whatever it is, I do believe it helps keep shadows from
getting too blue, especially flesh tones. And I would not say that
I've noticed any effect really...
When you say a 'higher letter' - would that be later in the
alphabet, or towards the beginning?
And, yes, Hoya calls it a 'skylight 81B'.
