Manuel,

Have you tried the lens on any another body? Like an EOS3? I know the Sigma
HSM lenses DO NOT need to be upgraded like non-HSM for use with certain
Canon EOS cameras. If it is an older Sigma it may not work with your 50e
unless you have it upgraded at Sigma but it should work with the EOS5.
