I'm just curious: What kind of pictures do you shoot that would be impossible without the use of spot metering? Actually, the FEL (flash exposure lock) on my Elan 7E seems to use only one of the 35 segments for metering. This is so annoyingly small that it often causes inaccuracies, especially over emphasizing specular reflections. Cheers Julian Loke P.S.
