The only way to see the differences in the lenses you mention is to print
enlargements to 30x40. If you can see a <1% difference in small prints,
you are pretty good since that amount would probably be greater
depending on enlarging lens used.
Something few people ever think of. ;-)
I chose to ignore retained value of the lens for the simple reason that
the lens suits my needs. I typically hold onto my lenses for several years
so its more important to ME that they are useable rather than resalable.
But to each his own.
