This is the fourth time trying t get the following message to be posted. I hope they do not all come at once, I have been trying for a few days.
My Elan II's door latch broke the other day and was wondering if anyone else had this happen to them. It appears that the sliding latch on the side of the camera has a small piece of plastic that catches the door when the back is closed. This piece broke off from the sliding latch. (not the piece on the film back) I tried to re-glue it but did not work. Anyone know where in the US I can get this part. I live in the Boston area. It would be a simple fix if I had a new latch.
