Ive uploaded 3 pictures of my first try in a studio, strobes and stuff. Id like to hear your comments and suggestions, specially regarding light. Thanks in advance. I really appreciate. http://www.photosig.com/viewphoto.php?id=397637 http://www.photosig.com/viewphoto.php?id=398240 http://www.photosig.com/viewphoto.php?id=398274 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------ Nice work. Comments on lighting. Your ratio may be too high. Is the main light more than at a 45 degree angle? I would lessen the angle, and lower the ratio to produce less shadows and it would also not show the hairs on her arm as it does. Most glamour lighting is of lower ratio, some flat. The other suggestion is to make sure you get the eyes lit all the time. In your 398274 (Vivian III) the eyes are dead. They are not lit. Yes you can see them but you need to get that catch light to add life. Last point (sorry if I am being picky), watch the angle of her face. Vivian II shows a broad face and you really don't want to see her nostrils as much as this photo shows. This facial pose is more pleasing as I & III. Just my two cents.
