Hi Alex,

You mention "left part of the prints.".  Have you looked at the slides and/or
negatives under a decent magnifier?
Could it be a printer issue?

Why was the original owner selling?

(I've got both an EOS3 & a 28-135 IS, plus the 550EX - no problems with
sharpness except handheld at 1s <g>.)
