Just talked to my dealer in Florida. There's nothing official but he has been told that he should expect to receive some 1Ds's by the end of November. He has not been told a date yet for the 24-70 f/2.8. His selling price for the 1Ds will be $7,350. The 24-70 f/2.8 will be $1,200. I'm first on a list for the lens. I hope I will have it by Christmas.
