Note that the 550EX can do TTL on newer EOS cameras as well. You will need to change 
one of the custom functions in order to do so.

I do agree that the old 4-zone TTL flash metering in Canon EOS bodies give more 
accurate and predictable results than E-TTL.

How much can you get the 540EZ for?
