Nor did I, until I went window shopping - see link below. The non-USM
version is GBP90.00 cheaper. Has anyone out there used one, and what's the

Asia always seems to get first dibs. I was actually in Canon UKs office
yesterday, and the poor rep was as exasperated as I was. He'd just finished
doing a pro roadshow to demonstrate the new products (1Ds etc), but WITHOUT
a demo 24-70L! If he can't get his hands on one, I guess I'll be kept
waiting a while longer.
