Hi fellow listmembers,

thanks to all of you who replied to my question whether exchaging my EOS 5
for an EOS 1 would be a good idea. I find your opinions very valuable! Wel,
against the advice of some of you I have done it, so now I'm the proud
owner of an EOS 1 with Power Booster E1. My first impressions are very
good, I very much like the dedicated depth-of-field preview button and the
iluminated LCD, which I missed on my EOS 5.
But now for my question. At the bottom of the body, there is a round
opening where the motor-drive of the booster connects to the motor of the
body. Apparently, a round cover plate can be screwed into this opening. The
cover, however, is missing. I have called Canon spare parts service in the
Netherlands (where I live) and they are willing to send one to me in
exchange for 25 EUR (about 25$). I find this quite expensive (yeah, we
dutch guys are known to be cheap ;-) ). Do you know a cheaper way to get
hold of this coverplate? All suggestions are appreciated!

Bye,

Bart
