Hello All, I've got a question that may be probably answered by our collective intelligence. I have purchased the Kenko Teleplus Pro 300 1.4 TC and it does not transmit the data between a lens and a body: the aperture setting displayed is 00 and the camera locks up, when the shutter is pressed (blinking battery symbol). I'm using Elan IIe and tried EF80-200/2.8, EF85/1.8, EF100-300/3.5-5.6, EF50/1.8, EF28-105/3.5-4.5 lenses. I have never heard about the compatibility problems between Elan IIe and this Kenko TC. So I called the vendor and he sent me another TC. Same result! No camera-lens communication. Of course, I tried cleaning all the contacts. I tried mounting and re-mounting all the components numerous times. To no avail. Please, do somebody here use the same combination of camera/TC/lenses? Have you heard about Kenko TC compatibility problems with EOS cameras? The vendor says he sold many TCs from this batch and everything was OK, so it is unlikely that this particular two are lemons. Any ideas will be appreciated.
Eugene. PS. Sorry for the long posting: just wanted to explain the details of the problem. * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
