Hi Ken and Gerard,

I have some thoughts to share about this problem.

The most elegant solution would be for Canon to build full E-TTL
compatibility into the popup flash. They went part way with the D30,
but I think that WETTL would be an important feature on any future
digital EOS camera.

I also used to fuss over the loss of a cold shoe atop the OCSC2, but
I have now a lot of my flash issues by building a wireless E-TTL
system instead.
