Hi All: I've a question regarding the software used to correct barrel distortion. How does the software know what's the degree of correction need to be applied, and must the image balance at both sides? If I have an image from a fisheye lens, chop it into half, wouldn't the software correct the 'suppose to be straight' center, into pin-cushion distortion? Hmm, it's really an Albert Einstein work to produce such a software...
