Over the next two weeks, I will be selling at least half of my EOS
equipment for reasons cited below. I am listing the lenses and flashes
first, later this week or next, I will list books and cases and

Lenses:
Canon Super Wide-angle Lens EF20mm f/2.8 USM with EW-75 II lens hood
Price: $370
Condition: Like new.
Bought new in Japan in 1999. Comes with front and read caps, unused
hard case and strap, instructions, warranty card, and box with packing
material. I am a quite poor wide angle shooter so never used it much,
never could get used to having so much in the frame, so it sat in
storage. Lens hood condition shows slight usage from being in the
camera bag, will come with the box the hood was sold in. Hood is
usually sold separately,
Canon Macro Lens EF180mm f/3.5L USM with Macro Lite Adapter 72C
Price: $1,040
Condition: Like new.
Bought in 1999 (USA). Comes with front and read caps, hood and
tripod ring (usually included), unused hard case and strap,
instructions, warranty card, and box with packing material. I love this
lens. My wife, who is a biologist, loves this lens when I use it to
shoot the lizards and damselflies that she studies. The Macro Lite
Adapter allows a ring flash to be mounted to this lens and is usually
$30 new.
Flashes and Accessories:
Canon Speedlite 550EX with four AA rechargables.
Price: $260
Condition: Mint.
Bought new in Japan in 2001. Comes with unused case, lightly used
flash stand, unused instructions (cover has crease and slight tear from
being in box), and box with packing material. This was the backup/second
flash for macro bracket flash. Usage I would estimate at less than 5-6
rolls. Shows slight rub marks from being in the camera bag and very
occasional use. I am keeping the main/primary 550EX for myself, and
selling this little used one.
Canon Speedlight Transmitter ST-E2 with lightly used Lithium battery.
Price: $155
Condition: Like new.
Bought new in Japan in 2001 (same time as 550EX flash). Comes with
unused case, unused instructions, warranty card and box with packing
material. I bought this with big dreams of doing some fancy interior and
portrait work which I never got around to. Therefore usage was minimal

Why are you selling?
I have a degree in creative writing and for the last 10 years or so have
been writing on and off, between jobs, during short periods of
unemployment etc� I have decided to devote this year (and next if we can
swing it) to writing full time. As my family must sacrifice so much for
my desire, I also have decided to part with anything of resale value and
use that money to help keep the family afloat. Photography has been my
major hobby, and I�m selling everything that I don�t absolutely need.
How do you care for your equipment?
All lenses have had UV mounted on them their entire life. I�ve always
stored them with silica gel packs in dry temperature controlled
environments. When they were carried, they were always carried in
LowePro cases and bags because I think their padding is the thickest and
the best. Because I am only a hobbyist, I�ve taken baby-careful care of
the equipment because it seems so expensive to me. None of the lenses
or flash equipment have been dropped or treated harshly in anyway.
Do you have any references?
I�ve been a member of the list since 1999, and have completed several
sales/buys from the list. If you like you can check my ebay seller

sell my used equipment to someone who will make good use of them. I
have had nothing but good experiences on this list and see no reason why
that should not continue.
