I bought the Canon off-camera shoe cord 2 and a flash bracket a few months ago, but finally tried them out last weekend*. I was a little worried when I read the instruction sheet that came with the shoe cord that listed flashes it was designed for and no EX flashes were listed, but I figured that was just outdated since it was has a copyright date of 1993.
Since the cord worked fine with my 420EX, I am hoping that the warning at the bottom of the sheet about only using the cord with the EOS-1, EOS-1N, EOS 620 and EOS 650 due to radio interference is also out of date, and I am OK to use the cord with my EOS-3 and/or Rebel 2000. I'm guessing I'm OK here, but as I'm a worrywart, can anyone confirm or deny? Thanks!
