Hey, it looks like you're right. I thought it looked familiar - I forgot that the 3000N wasn't sold in the US. (it is in Canada, however)
It looks basically like a 500N/Rebel G with a silver case and even crappier low-light AF at 2-20 EV. Are there any other differences of note? Canon Canada still sell both the Rebel G and the 3000N.
