Regarding the 35/1.4, take a look at this link:

The interesting point is that you buy this lens for
two reasons; it's fast for low light and it has great
sharpness edge to edge.  Unfortunately, it seems to me
you are spending a ton of money on Canon advanced
engineering which you will never use, the performance
around the edge of the image circle which gets cropped
by the small sensor.  At one time I owned a 14/2.8,
24/1.4 and 35/1.4. When I sold my 14 and got a 16-35 I
virtually never touched the 35 and used the 24
exclusively for low light.  I sold the 35 and used the
money to trade up from a "non-IS" to IS 70-200.  I
have no experience with the 135.
