A number of UK stores are taking pre-orders (e.g. Park Cameras) as are some
of the major German stores (I've seen a number of references on DPreview).
I've been quoted a delivery date of third week of March from Parks.
As I understand it Canon UK have not yet confirmed the UK price but �1500
is widely quoted and supported by the list price on DPreview - the same
site lists the price as 2200 Euros.
The list prices are all pretty much the same (given that the UK/Euro price
includes VAT). However, US price seem to have fallen to $1500 immediately
which is quite a saving.
