Canon Macro Lens EF180mm f/3.5L USM with Macro Lite Adapter 72C and Multicoated UV filter.
Price: $1,040
Condition: Like new.
Bought in 1999 (USA). Comes with original front and rear caps, hood and tripod ring (usually included), unused hard case and strap, instruction booklet, warranty card, and box with packing material. I love this lens. My wife, who is a biologist, loves this lens when I use it to shoot the lizards and damselflies that she studies. Also included is the Canon brand Macro Lite Adapter which allows a ring flash to be mounted to this lens and is usually $30 new. I will also include the UV filter always fitted to this lens: a Kenko Multicoated UV filter (SL-39) 72mm diameter, similarly like new. This filter is $40 new. That’s $70 free in extra (albeit handy) accessories.
This has always had a UV filter mounted on it. I’ve always stored it with silica gel packs in dry temperature controlled environments. When it was carried, it was always carried in LowePro cases and bags because I think their padding is the thickest and the best. Because I am only a hobbyist, I’ve taken baby-careful care of the equipment because it seems so expensive to me. This lens has not been dropped or treated harshly in anyway.

LowePro Nature Trekker AW + Pacsafe luggage security system
Price: $150
Condition: mint.
Bought new from B&H in July 2001, green and black model, retails for $189.95. Comes with instruction booklet and unused warranty card! Bought it to carry everything my wife and I needed for trips (video camera, her digital camera, and my two long lenses, and 4 short lenses, 2 flashes and 2 bodies). Now that I am selling the lenses and sold the flashes, I don’t need this pack anymore. Wore it three times, never in the field exposed to elements. Basically used the pack to hump my stuff around the airports and hotel rooms, NEVER been through airlines baggage handling (yikes!). Never opened the AW fly/cover. Condition is like new, except for some scrapes on the plastic buckle for some reason which don’t effect function in any way. Comes with Pacsafe (metal net) security system. I used this to lock the pack to a secure object in the hotel rooms. Works really well, I think. Comes with mounting cardboard that has instructions. The Pacsafe is $37.50 new.
LowePro Street and Field Deluxe Waistbelt (Size 13 (Large): 34-42" (86.5-106.5cm))
Price: $20
Condition: mint.
Bought new from B&H in July 2001, retails for $29.95. Bought when I purchased my LowePro Street and Field 85AW. Never really used it (maybe twice), because everything fit in the bag, and didn’t need the belt for support. Anyway, I was too poor to buy all the extra accessories to hang off the belt, although that would have been nice. So everything looks good on the belt and not bent or all stretched out.
*** Terms & FAQs **********************************************
Please note that the prices are firm, I do not wish to haggle or trade items. Shipping will be at cost, most likely USPS unless otherwise specified. I will ship internationally to most places. For payments, I will accept checks, money orders, or cashiers checks. I am not a business, so I have no way to accept credit card payments except through PayPal which charges a 3% or more fee. If you are willing to pay this fee in addition to the total, we could work out a paypal payment.
Why are you selling?
I have decided to devote this year (and next if we can swing it) to writing full time. As my family must sacrifice so much for my desire, I also have decided to part with anything of resale value and use that money to help keep the family afloat. Photography has been my major hobby, and I’m selling everything that I don’t absolutely need.
Do you have any references?
I’ve been a member of the list since 1999, and have completed several sales/buys recently (550EX, ST-E2, EF20 mm lens) from the list. If you like you can check my ebay seller feedback at ebay user id: higa or I can supply references. I am not out to rip anyone off, just to sell my used equipment to someone who will make good use of them. I have had nothing but good experiences on this list and see no reason why that should not continue.
