Hi, after having bought a digital P&S camera (Powershot S 50) I wonder if there is an ISO speed setting AUTO on the digital EOS bodies. Assuming there is this setting: How is it expected to work and how can you actually verify that it does what it is supposed to do?
Just for your info: I am pretty sure that this setting on the S 50 does nothing at all (and googling the usent groups I am almost certain that it never worked for at least the S40 and the S45) but I would like to have some arguments when talking to Canon. Of course Canon claims it does work. Thanks very much.
