I prefer canvas.  It has a smoother look than Muslin.
I use an Old Masters canvas with brownish coloring.
The paint on muslin is different than that used on Canvas
and you have to know where you are buying it from.
Some know what to use on what material.
Sometimes I borrow a gray/dark blus mackground.
One that I would like to buy but is from the Backgrounders.
He is the premier choice among pros. There is no one better.
