Ever since I got my 10D, I've been trying to find Canon's eyepiece extender.
Do any list members have one, and how do you like it?

This is a optical device that goes between the eyecup mount and the rubber
eyecup itself. It reduces viewfinder magnification by 20% and lets eyeglass
wearers see the edges of the frame and the exposure readouts at the same
time. For digital cameras, it has the nice benefit of reducing the amount
of "nose oil" deposited on the display. It will fit anything with an Eb or
Ec eyepiece, which means a D30/D60/10D, the EOS-1 family (original EOS-1 to
the 1v and 1Ds), and some older bodies.

Now, if only I could find one. I tried my local camera stores. No Luck.
I tried the usual online dealers and _none_ had it in stock. A couple of
months ago I took advantage of B&H Photo's "Notify me when this is
available" link.

A few days ago B&H send me an automated email saying they had the EP-EX15 in
stock, and their website let me add it to my cart. But by the time I
checked out, it was out of stock!!!!

So it's a mystery - I want to know where all the Canon eyepiece extenders
are.

Anyone seen one, have one, or used one recently??? I got one from B&H in
about '97 but it didn't fit my camera and I returned it. For quite a while
it was listed as "Discontinued" on the B&H website. I'm trying to convince
myself I'm not the victim of an international conspiracy.

    Any help appreciated,
        Warren Marts
