Gerard, the best solution for you is to use a hosting service that will manage your
DNS. That way, you don't worry about redirects, because the server your website runs
on is the one listed in the name servers. You get the benefit of using e-mails (with
your domain name appended), more addresses (like www.gerrardmass.com or
photo.gerrardmass.com) and even active scripting + db access if your hosting company
supports that. Sometimes, IMO, it is better to pay a little extra for the real service
(not like the forwarding one). You should be able to get 100 MB server space (+ PHP +
DB), one e-mail account (100 MB) with virus scanning for arround 40 EUR/month. That
way you have your own server, with email, where you can fiddle arround.
