I have both cameras. The only major issue solved with the 10D versus the 1D is more pleasing flash exposure with the 10D.
They're both fine cameras when used in the 'sweet spot' of the 10D's intended use - my observation is their indistinguishable in this situation. But, stray from the 10D's sweet spot (action or dim lighting requiring razor sharp 45 point AF capability, 1/500th flash sync, very usable 1600 ISO imaging, machine-gun 8 frames per second shooting, indestructible body), then there's no comparison to the 1D. But you'll pay for this extended performance, to the tune of about $2000 price difference. Are there any major issues with the 1D that are solved in the 10D or not yet solved? * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
