I, myself, am a masochist... when I finally convert to a digital body, I intend to use a fully color-managed workflow on Windows. I love Mac and hate MSFT, but it's to the point now where my clients don't have a preference, and Windows seems to be cheaper and the first platform for development of much of the software I use. Sorry to say, I saw the begining of the end of the Mac for creative fields in Madrid, Spain. A magazine I called on there was producing full-color weekly (or was it daily ?) publications entirely on color-managed Windows environment. It was more of a tabloid rag than a respected publication, but wide circulation in Spain. And they liked the lower cost of Windows and lower support costs by having only one architecture and operating system to support.
