The most interesting thing to me is that, among Canon shooters, I think there were far more people shooting digital than film. I think more than half of the EOS cameras around me everywhere I shot were 10Ds! Saw several 1Ds (not sure if they were 1Ds or just 1D), and some 3s and 1n's. Most of the rest were consumer models: Rebels, an old 10s, a couple of Elans, etc.
Look at the prices on used EOS mount lenses at KEH (regardless of who made them)... they are consistently higher than equivalent Nikon or Minolta Maxxum mount lenses.
I am really puzzled as to why Minolta hasn't jumped into the DSLR market after the RD3000 fiasco (DSLR based on the APS S1 SLR). They really should have an SLR with a Maxxum mount. I wonder if the Olympus E1 saga might not play out with a similar ending...
