>> Was there ever a Rebel K? > > No. "K2" is a euphemism for 2000.
There hardly any actual (non-cosmetic) difference between the Rebel K2 and the Rebel Ti. The K2 does continuous shooting at 1.5 fps vs 2.5, and it doesn't support the RS-60E3 wired remote. I even think the K2 is more attractive than the Ti. It seems a little odd that they would change the name from 2000 to K2 and put it on a different body, but Canon's product people don't ask me for advice... In any case, the Rebel K2 sells for the same price as the 2000 did ($199 body only at discount). The Ti and G-II are 235 and 149 respectively. That's 3 bodies in a very small spread of price. * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
