Hi Henry,

I don't doubt that Canon USA supplied correct information to B&H but
somewhere there was a mix up.  It happens all the time and is not a big deal
as the manufacture's site is the reference you should be using for
confirming details like this.  Any on-line retailer's catalog is really only
for use as a guide though I would hope that they are trying to show accurate
info and I'm certain that B&H has only the best intent here.

Both pieces of information are incorrect per Canon manuals and web site.
Both the EOS 10D and EOS 300D/D-Rebel are capable of 36bit color (12 bits
per color).  Now that B&H knows this they should change the data on the web
site to prevent confusion of both their OWN people and existing and
potential customers.
