Sorry for the off topic,

i wanted to ask those who are based in the UK if they know(and
preferably used) any insurance company for their photographic
equipment.
I've never taken out an insurance so i have some concerns, like who
decides what the equivalent 'new for old' camera is. What if they
believe the 'equivalent' of an EOS50 is an EOS 300 (instead of 30).
Can i dispute that or they do whatever they want ?
Does any of them cover accidental damage or just theft ? Reading the
small print you see some very picky and unrealistic terms.

" When insured equipment is in premises open to the public and is not
being used or attended, it must be locked in a separate and secure
area not accessible by anyone except you, and be secured by a
five-lever lock to British Standard 3621. Any security systems must be
put into full and effective operation."

So if you are in a pub, you must chain your bag to the table or
something ?????

I have only come across those two :
http://www.eandl.co.uk and http://www.photoguard.co.uk/

Any suggestions ?
Thanks a lot
